Welcome to How Jew Meet! This website, our events, and our online store are operated by HowJewMeet LLC, a New York limited liability company (“How Jew Meet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, submitting any of our forms, attending our events, or making a purchase, you agree to the following terms.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our services, and at least 21 years old to attend events where alcohol is served.
  • You agree to provide accurate, truthful information in all forms and submissions.

Community Standards

  • Be respectful to other members — no harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate conduct.
  • We reserve the right to remove content, decline participation, or suspend members who violate these standards.

Events

  • Our dinners and gatherings take place at partner restaurants and bars throughout New York City.
  • Attendance is voluntary and at your own risk. Please drink responsibly and follow the policies of each venue.
  • We may reschedule or cancel an event at our discretion. If we cancel, we will transfer your deposit to a future dinner.

Cancellations and Deposits

  • If you’re unable to attend a dinner, please notify us by email at info@howjewmeet.com at least seven (7) days before the event.
  • With timely notice, your deposit will be transferred to a future dinner once we’ve identified another compatible match.
  • Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made with less than seven (7) days’ notice may not be eligible for a transfer.

Referrals

  • When you refer a friend, you confirm that they have agreed to let you share their name and contact details with us.
  • We will only contact referred friends about How Jew Meet, and they may ask us to delete their information at any time.

Purchases

  • Products, including the We Should Meet card game, are sold through our online store, powered by Shopify. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include shipping, which is calculated at checkout.
  • Orders are subject to the shipping and refund policies shown at checkout.

Use of Content

  • All text, graphics, and branding on this site are the property of HowJewMeet LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.
  • You may not use the website for unlawful purposes or to misrepresent your identity.

Disclaimer of Liability

  • How Jew Meet facilitates introductions and events but does not guarantee compatibility, outcomes, or relationships.
  • We are not responsible for the actions or conduct of members outside of official events.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Text Message Consent

By submitting a sign-up form, you consent to receive text messages from How Jew Meet about your matches, dinner reservations, payment confirmations, and event reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
